Kerri Salls

Prior to founding C5 English Services, Kerri Salls was Executive VP Strategic Planning for Mosaic International a research, educational and services firm with a mission to improve clients’ marketplace competitiveness where she led all strategic and operational facets of the business.

In 1999, Kerri established Breakthrough Enterprise to provide business advisory and corporate coaching services to help entrepreneurs and executives achieve strategic and financial growth, enabling companies to increase revenues through systems and processes in sales, service and marketing. She is a results oriented strategist who executes marketing plans that give rise to new and successful product introductions. Client industries include technology, consumer goods, non-profit and professional services.

As President and Lead Consultant at DocTech, a documentation management consulting firm in the technology industry from 1988 – 1999, Kerri led engagements which ranged from establishing in-house documentation department to reduce costs for numerous clients; to redesigning department and facility process flow and process improvement, job responsibilities and use of software tools to eliminate lost and late projects for a $50M custom printing house. Clients included Zydacron, Eikonix-Kodak, Kodak Legal Systems, Drane Associates, Occam, Polycom, Fasfax, NEBS, and numerous startup companies.

Prior to consulting, she was a marketing manager for Atex Publishing Systems and a technical writer for Data General, Honeywell and Mitre Corporation.

Before settling in the Boston area, she was a TEFL teacher in Benin, West Africa in the Peace Corps where she was the English Department Chairman in a regional high school.

Kerri sits on a number of industry and community boards.

She holds a B.A in French Literature from Bates College in Maine and a M.B.A. in International Marketing and Operations Management from Boston University in Massachusetts.
