Our company name C5 English Services is derived from how our services help clients produce effective written English materials that are Correct, Clear, Concise, Culturally compelling, and Consistent to open international market place.

In addition to regular business communication, English materials include marketing brochures, web pages, user manuals, on-line help, service documentation, etc.

First and foremost, the English materials have to be Correct.  Grammatically incorrect materials harm a company's brand image and reduce revenue.  Incorrect information results in frustrated customers and increase service cost.

Clear and Concise materials improve customer satisfaction.  They will reduce service cost by decreasing the number of service calls and the time to resolution.  They are also much easier for use as the source for translation into other languages.

 

The same phrase may have different connotations in the many different English speaking countries. For example, "nothing sucks like it" is a good slogan for a vacuum cleaner in U.K. but a bad one in U.S. English materials that are not Culturally compelling confuse customers and have a negative impact on a company's image.
